Ted Kennedy Makes Final Trip To Washington For Burial At Arlington Cemetery

One man is the son of a former President who went on to become the President himself.  He had a checkered early life with numerous arrests and alcohol problems.  However, he was sober and more responsible by age 40 when he began to enter politics.

Another man is the son of a wealthy businessman and politician whose brother was President and other brother was a Senator and Attorney General and well on the way to becoming President before his assassination.  He won his older brother’s former Senate seat a couple years after his brother was elected President and held onto it for nearly fifty years until his death.  He continued to live a checkered life for decades, including killing a woman by driving off a bridge and not reporting the “accident” to authorities until after her body was found. Enhancing Ted Kennedy’s Campus Progress Memorial

By Joe L-E, August 29, 2009 under News | 2 Comments

I somehow wound up on the Campus Progress e-mail list a few years ago so I get their weekly e-mails, as well as any other special editions.  I got one this week about how to give a tribute to Ted Kennedy.  I have a suggestion…

  1. Right click on the photo above and save it on you desktop.
  2. Go to http://www.campusprogress.org/page/content/KennedyMemorial/
  3. For first and last name, enter Mary Jo Kopechne or just put another name (in case they start to block entry or erase entries with her name)
  4. Make the e-mail whatever you want– your own if you want to see if they send a nasty response (haven’t gotten one yet), or just put a fake one in.
  5. For city, state and ZIP, I would suggest: Chappaquiddick Island, MA 02539
  6. For College/University you can put Caldwell College for Women, Boiler Room Girls University, Ted Kennedy Driving school, Ted Kennedy Scuba School, etc.
  7. Finally, upload the photo
  8. Listen to liberals complain.  For the record, I’m not just doing this because he’s a Democrat: I would do something similar if someone wanted to make a memorial for O.J. Simpson, Charlie Manson or Phil Spector.  I’m just not a big fan of celebrity killers.
